The garden is really growing.  So far peppers, lettuce, herbs, radishes, and purslane have been picked.  I know some people call purslane a weed but many people eat it.  It can be added to salads or sauteed with onions or other vegies of your desire.

In the background along the top of the fence are flags that were made by the kids.  In the foreground are healthy green cabbages over growing the raised bed frame.

The beans are ready for picking as are more peppers and radishes.  The egg plant are starting to set on and there was on small zucchini squash visible today. Lots of blossoms on other squash and more on the beans.

I'll take more pictures this week and get them posted ASAP.

There are four 55 gal rains barrels at the garden that are now full.  That will really help with watering.  So far we have been able to rely on the consistent rain.  We will be getting some mulch for the raised beds which will also help to keep weeds down and moisture in.
